TRRUEE!!!! I hate when people say nobody likes their art, its annoying af cuz I keep telling them they're getting better every day.
I mean, sometimes seeing that you have only two votes can make you feel bad.
But still not because *now* they are bad at drawing, means that in the future they will still be bad.
As long as they try their best and keep experimenting, they will make something nice
What a nice post! It's healthy to reflect on past work once in a while, if you're feeling demotivated or not. This feeling of disliking one's own older work never vanishes, which I think is a good thing. It also is never as bad as the artist believes it is.
By the way, your first piece looks quite good, it has clear visuals and feels comfortably simple.
Yeah, it makes you say "Woah, I did actually improve". Sometimes we just get better without knowing. It's part of making art I guess <3
Incredibly well said. Looking at your past art and comparing it to your present work is infinitely better than comparing your work to other peoples.
